About the Event:
Join fellow crew members for this social get together for some Brigantine Island Bay Area Surf Fishing!
We will meet at Brigantine Island Dunkin’ Donuts (4012 Brigantine Blvd, Brigantine, NJ 08203) at 8am. Bring a surf rod and beach chair, or a boat if you want to get in to the back bay area.
This is a social event, no agenda, no competition, no prizes. Be sure to sport your AP gear and gear of partners so we can get some good content for the site and social media!
If you have any questions contact Jimmy at (717) 507-4469.
The Island is very fish friendly and we cater to all anglers needs from beginners to experts. In the Spring and Fall you can access the beaches with a 4 X 4 permit and drive up and down the entire length of the Island by truck ( with a valid 4 X 4 Brigantine permit). The Striper and Black Drum migration comes through Brigantine twice a year and they usually hang around here for 3 months at a time.
Starting in the middle of March until the middle of June you have the spring run when the fish are all heading north and they will return in the middle of September until the end of the year. All summer long we have flounder, blue fish, king fish, weak fish and spot along with many other species that enjoy the waters of our Island. The best part of fishing in Brigantine is that you can enjoy the surf fishing or drop your boat in using the free Brigantine boat ramp and enjoy a day of fishing from your boat in the back bays or navigate out front into the ocean in only minutes. Stop in and find out how much Brigantine has to offer the anglers that visit our beautiful Island.
